Cathy (again) spoofed on Saturday Night Live

Cathy Guisewite’s Cathy became an unlikely source of parody for last week’s Saturday Night Live. Andy Samberg played the harried comic strip character who was interviewed about her finishing last in a “sexiest cartoon character” poll. Justin Timberlake in his second cameo on the show played Cathy’s husband. The skit also featured Jessica Rabbit, who won the poll.

Nothing against “Cathy” but like all SNL skits, it went on a bit too long for my taste.
