Nate Beeler wins 2008 Berryman Award
Washington Examiner editorial cartoonist Nate Beeler has won the 2008 Clifford K. Berryman and James T. Berryman Award for Editorial Cartooning. The annual award is sponsored by the National Press Foundation. The Berryman award will be presented to Nate during their Annual Awards Dinner in February. The judges, which included Ann Telnaes, said they were, “taken with Nate Beeler’s technical skill and wry sense of humor. His grasp of politics is excellent, which is particularly important when you’re drawing for an audience of Washington insiders. Beeler is a new talent in one of the most popular forms of journalism.”
