Toon Talk moves to Ning
Darrin Bell’s venerable Toon Talk comic forum has moved to a new location to escape the ever growing onslaught of spam. Toon Talk is now hosted on Ning - a social network type service that, in addition to the forum that made Toon Talk a worthwhile destination, also allows it’s community members to create blogs, live chat, upload photos, video and access other Facebook type features. The downside is two fold: the old discussions couldn’t be imported into Ning and if not enough people show interest in the “open version of the Wisenheimer” then Darrin says he’ll probably let Toon Talk go. Head over and check out the new offerings.
