National Caricaturist convention set for Raleigh
The National Caricature Network is set to hold their 17th annual convention next week in Raleigh, NC. The convention attracts 200 or so member artists from around the world. At the convention the public is invited to watch in the “Worlds Fastest Artist” competition crowns the fastest artist who draws the most number of live caricatures. Also planned is the awarding of the Golden Nosey, the caricaturist of the year award, along with other awards for best likeness, best portfolio, and best color techniques.
