Toon-ed exhibit for college cartoonists announced
The Pearson Lakes Art Center in Okoboji, IA is holding it’s annual Toon-ed exhibit featuring the cartoons of aspiring college cartoonists from across the United States. All college students (over 18) are invited to participate. The categories for judging include magazine cartoons, greeting cards, comic books, political cartoons, illustrations, manga and anime, comic strips and animation. The judges will include: Chris Browne (Hagar the Horrible), Tom Richmond (MAD Magazine), Buck Jones (Illustrator), Paul Fell (editorial cartoonist) and Ed Baker (storyboard animator).
