NCS-USO trip to Germany Wrap-up
The National Cartoonist Society and the United Service Organizations sponsored a trip to visit with American wounded soldiers in Germany earlier this month. Here’s a round up of write-ups on the experience:
» Tom Richmond, one of participating cartoonists writes up the visit to the National Naval Medical Center, Walter Reed Army Medical Center, and Military Advanced Training Center in Washington D.C.
» He also has written up a very extensive review of the trip. Includes photos.
» Bruce Higdon, another participant, has a flickr photo stream.
» The American Forces Network has posted a video news report.
Hat Tip to Mike Lynch for many of those links.

A virtual round of standing applause for all those cartoonists taking part in this charitable venture. They do us all proud as well as the NCS.
