Doonesbury, PBF, Complete Peanuts win Harvey award
With the Baltimore Comic-Con has drawn to a close and the Harvey Award winners were announced at their Saturday Gala. Among the winners included Doonesbury creator Garry Trudeau who won the award for Best Syndicated Strip or Panel. Fantagraphics Books received the Best Domestic Reprint Project award for I and Nicholas Gurewitch for Best On-line Comic with his Perry Bible Fellowship.
Nominated for the best comic strip or panel included Darby Conley’s Get Fuzzy, Keith Knight’s The K Chronicles, Mark Wheatley, Daniel Krall, Robert Tinnell and MJ Butler, Craig Taillerfer, Matthew Plog, and Jerry Carr’s’ The Mighty Motor-Sapiens and lastly Patrick McDonnell’s Mutts.
