Jim Borgman to leave Cincinnati Enquirer
The Cincinnati Enquirer is reporting that their longtime editorial cartoonist, Jim Borgman, has “applied for, and was granted, severance under the company’s voluntary severance program.” His daily editorial cartoons will continue through the month of September and then he’ll provide a new weekly cartoon feature later this year that will run on the Sunday Community Forum section.
“I’ve enjoyed doing two of the best jobs I can imagine - drawing editorial cartoons and my comic strip ‘Zits’ - and I have loved it all, although it is exhausting,” Borgman said.
“Continuing ‘Zits’ while doing a new weekly feature sounds like a great balance.”

Sorry to see you go on political side Jim … but I certainly understand the decision … Zits is great and will continue to thrive. Time, time, time!
