Peters to be roasted by Luckovich, Borgman, Bok
Dayton Daily News editorial cartoonist Mike Peters will be honored at this year’s Kids Voting’s annual Bipartisan Bash which will celebrate Mike’s 40 years for cartooning. Speaking at the bash will be Mike Luckovich of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Jim Borgman of The Cincinnati Enquirer and Chip Bok of the Akron Beacon Journal who will “poke, prod and praise Peters with stories and drawings.”

I was thinking about going - sure would like to hear these guys and roasting Mike Peters could be a hoot - but it cost $85 ($65 is tax deductible) so will have to decide how philanthropic I feel. On the one hand it’s a fund raiser for kids voting, on the other hand I’m pretty sure that kids’ votes still are not counted … ;)
A deal on quantity though, only $1,000 per table!
Gad, this might mean not wearing jeans and t-shirt … whoa, this is just getting worser and worser !
