Kurt Westergaard honored with press freedom award
Kurt Westergaard, the controversial cartoonist drew the now infamous cartoonist of the Prophet Mohammed with a bomb in his turban was honored last week with the Sappho Award by the Danish Free Press Society. The award, named after the Greek poet Sappho, comes with a $4,200 prize and statue.
