Silver T-Square Award given to Stu Rees
The National Cartoonist Society has awarded this year’s Silver T-Square to Stu Rees for his contribution to the organization in legal matters. His service has “saved the society an immence amount of money.”
“It’s been a real privilege to work for the NCS and individual cartoonists for the last 10 years now and I hope to for the next 30 or 40,” said Stu upon receiving the award.

Stu really has changed the way business is done in syndicated cartooning, making it so much better for both the cartoonists he’s worked with and, by changing the playing field, cartoonists in general. He’s a great guy and deserves the recognition.
