African comic strips gaining popularity
The uniquely American art form of the comic strip is gaining popularity in Africa. The Africa News website has posted a sampling of some of the cartoons now showing in an exhibit in the Netherlands.

This is a great example of why INKswig is going to accept comics worldwide and allow people to translate them into different languages. Think of what we can learn from each other. And it will allow artists all over the world a way to make money, just like programmers have been able to boost their local economies in India, the Middle East, etc.
