Dick Locher inducted to local hall of fame
As mentioned back in January, Chicago Tribune editorial cartoonist Dick Locher will be inducted into the Fox Valley Arts Hall of Fame this Thursday evening in a black tie affair in Geneva, IL. The honor was created to recognize artists affiliated with Fox Valley by birth, education, residence or service that have “achieved international or national acclaim and to ensure a strong cultural legacy for future generations.”
Regarding the honor and other inductees, Dick said,
“It’s great, it’s neat, I’m totally honored. I stand in awe of all of these people. “I admire what I can’t do.”
