Chicago Tribune changes to tabloid Sunday comics format
Last Friday I told you that the Chicago Tribune was going to change their Sunday comics to a tabloid format. Mark Anderson has photos of the before and after as well as a close up on how some features are laid out in the smaller space.

Of course, the Trib’s section has been a tabloid once before. But let’s sit back and watch to see if the idea of putting the comics inside a TV book of the same size catches on. Papers have been frustrated with their smaller TV books and the ever-growing number of channels, and you know how much they love to copycat the more respected papers in the country.
