Editorial cartoon exhibit dates extended out of public interest
The “Left, Right, & Wrong: Celebrating the Art of Editorial Cartooning” that opened up in Seattle last February has been extended until April 15 due to great public interest. The exhibit features the editorial cartoons of David Horsey, Pat Moriarity, Andrew Wahl, Peter Bagge, Donna Barr, Lew Andrus, Dan McConnell, and George Jartos.
“Whether from the left or right, art is a powerful weapon in the war to persuade. This show celebrates the history and triumph of editorial art from a variety of perspectives.” says Roby Gilbert, show curator and Director of the Animation program at The Art Institute of Seattle.
