Scott Hilburn, creator of the soon-to-be-launched-to-papers Argyle Sweater has posted part two of a continuing history of how his feature advanced from Comics Sherpa, to Gocomics to print.
Australian cartoonist Jason Chatfield, who took over on Ginger Meggs after James Kemsley passed away last December, says that he plans to spend the rest of his career. Jason, age 23, is the youngest artist to work on Australia’s longest running comic strip (87 years) and hopes to take it well beyond it’s 100th birthday.
Nancy Goldstein, the author of “Jackie Ormes: The First African American Woman Cartoonist” will be on Chicago’s NPR station on February 17 to discuss her book.
