- Lafayette’s Bentley High School is putting on a musical based on Jim Toomey’s Sherman’s Lagoon.
- Allan Holtz has posted an Editor and Publisher article on Pogo creator Walt Kelly after he was awarded Cartoonist of the Year in 1952.
- An entertaining review of Doonesbury, Cathy, Dilbert, Garfield, 9 Chickweed Lane, and Family Circus. (Caution: language may not be appropriate for all ages).
- Paul Eberhart, former director of operations at King Features Syndicate, died on Sunday. He was 72.
- This year’s Harvey Award nomination ballots are now available. Categories of interest include Best Cartoonist and Best Syndicated Strip or Panel.

Even if those WERE all my favorite comic strips, I could care less what a non-comic strip
reader thinks.

It made me laugh. It points out how repetitive most strips are.
