High school student cartoonists nets $24k scholarship
A Pontiac Central High School senior has been awarded a $24,000 scholarship to the College of Creative Studies in Detroit according to The Oakland Press. Tiffany Patterson received the award based on her portfolio showcasing editorial cartoons and other original work. She hopes “her political cartoons will grace the editorial pages of newspapers across the country.”
