J.D. Crowe gets intimate access to sitting governor
J.D. Crowe just sent me this funny exchange. It’s also over on this blog.
Before a recent meeting with Press-Register reporters and editors, Gov. Bob Riley told cartoonist J.D. Crowe that his book, “Smell the Love,” was the most popular thing in the Governor’s Mansion.
It even ended up in one of the mansion’s bathrooms, Riley said.
“That’s quality reading time,” he said.
Crowe said he got “misty-eyed” when he learned about the honor.
“It’s a little overwhelming to have such intimate access to a sitting governor,” he said.
