Christian Science Monitor narrows Bennett replacement to 12
The Christian Science Monitor is planning to fill the editorial cartoonist position vacated by Clay Bennett who left for the Chattanooga Times Free Press earlier this month. The Monitor’s chief editorial writer and editor Clayton Jones told E&P’s Dave Astor that they’ve narrowed their search to about a dozen candidates. Jones says he doesn’t know when they’ll make their final decision, but they hope to have an in-house cartoonist, but may go with a exclusive regular contributor. Animations are also a possible requirement for the cartoonist.
