First look at Signe Wilkinson’s “Family Tree”
Last week I told you that United Features will be launching a new feature called Family Tree by Philadelphia Daily News editorial cartoonist Signe Wilkinson.
Here is the first peak at the feature:

Family Tree is described as a sophisticated contemporary family comedy whose initial clients include the Seattle Times, Detroit Free Press, Denver Rocky Mountain News and the Philadelphia Daily News.

It does look good, but seems to hit the point a little too finely - like it’s deliberately set up for a demographic. That’s only my reaction after seeing one example, so I hope to see more.

I love the first one, and will be a devoted follower, buying the newspaper primarily to read Signe’s cartoon! congrats and press on!
