Sunday’s Elderberries pays tribute to Phil Frank
This last Sunday’s Elderberries paid tribute to Phil Frank, the strip’s co-creator who passed away in September. Corey Pandolph took over on the strip back in May when co-creator Joe Troise retired. The tribute strip depicts Phil riding into the sunset.

Excellent. A very fitting tribute. Bruce the Raven flying by in the first panel is a nice touch.

It was a nice Sunday Funny. Overall, I think Corey’s done a good job staying true to the strip’s style, while at the same time adding his own style to the strip. Always a fun strip to look at and read…
