Richard Thompson to speak at Writers’ Center
I wrote about this a couple of weeks ago, but Richard Thompson, Cul de Sac creator, notes on his blog that he’ll be speaking at the Writers’ Center in Bethesda MD on October 12 on the topic of finding and developing ideas. The event is free, but space is limited so RSVP if you want to attend. Richard also mentions that after the speaking engagement anyone who wants to meet up can do so at the Tastee Diner for fries, shakes. Check out his blog for more details.

Any chance the speech will be recorded? “finding and developing ideas” sounds like a cool topic, but I live nowhere near Maryland. And after reading about the Tastee Diner, I’m suddenly quite hungry.

I was kinda kidding about going to the Tastee Diner, but I could be talked into it.
