The Golden Notebook, 50 Years of the AAEC: 1957-2007 Now Available
The Association of American Editorial Cartoonists (AAEC) have published a special limited-edition book celebrating the organization and its cartoonists. The book contains:
- The complete history of the world’s oldest and largest organization for professional editorial cartoonists, from its founding to the rise of the internet.
- Reports on major speakers, panels, controversies and practical jokes at all of the AAEC’s first 50 conventions.
- A timeline of notable events in editorial cartooning in the U.S. and abroad since 1957.
- Hundreds of photos, sketches and cartoons — many never before published.
