Season 2 of Aaron McGruder’s Boondocks back on Adult Swim
Months after its rumored return, Aaron McGruder’s The Boondocks is scheduled to return to the Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim on October 8. The second season is only 15 episodes, but will feature the voice talent of many celebrities including: Busta Rhymes, Snoop Dogg, Ghostface Killah, Cee-lo, Lil Wayne, Donald Faison, Aisha Tyler, Kym Whitley, Tichina Arnold, Mo’Nique, Marion Ross, Tavis Smiley, Terry Crews, Bill Duke and Cedric the Entertainer.
The Boondocks originated as a comic strip that debuted in 1997, but was discontinued in the fall of 2006 after a lengthy sabbatical and the launch of the same-titled television show that won a Peabody award in the spring of this year.
