Hattiesburg American picks up 3 new features; drops 2
Earlier this month, I reported that The Hattiesburg American (MS) was changing their line-up because Kudzu is no longer available. After polling their readers they’ve added three new features: Pickles, Pearls Before Swine and Little Dog Lost. On the outs include: Cathy and Mark Trail and of course Kudzu.
On the Sunday pages, they’ve also dropped Rubes and Close to Home, so they can run the three new features as well as keep the Sunday versions of Cathy and Mark Trail. Also returning to the daily funnies are: Andy Capp, B.C. and Wizard of Id which were temporarily suspended to make room for the try-out strips.
