Marshall Ramsey live blogging election results update
Received an email from Clarion-Ledger editorial cartoonist Marshall Ramsey who reported in on his live blogging experiment of last nights election results there in Mississippi. He published 32 posts and 12 cartoons in that one night.
From his email:
I was exhausted when I got home at 1 a.m., but was very energized this morning when I saw the final hit count (more than double). It turned into a great “conversation” with my readers about the incoming election results.
By my quick count, that “conversation” resulted in approximately 286 comments on over the course of those 32 blog posts - which in any blogging endeavor would be considered a huge success.
Marshall wrote that his most rewarding reader comment was, “this was great entertainment. Lots better than the TV commentators.”
