Comic Relief exhibit to open in South Dakota
A new comic exhibit entitled “Comic Relief” is opening up in Sioux Falls (SD) and will feature cartoon art from Lynn Johnston, Mort Walker, Gary McCoy, Jerry Scott, Jim Borgman, Marcus Hamilton, Stan Goldberg, Dan Piraro, Hy Eisman, and Tom Richmond. The show is organized by Ken Alvine - a member of the National Cartoonist Society. Also showing is a local exhibit of editorial cartoons entitled “Lowbrow Lowdown on the Prairie.” There will be a artists’ reception on August 12. The exhibits run through September 4th.

…which I am proud to be a part of.
I’ve seen the NCS display, it is some seriously great work! Anyone in the vicinity should really take a look at it, it’s a wonderful showcase of cartoonist technique.
