Jesse Springer wins this year’s American Science Idol
The Union of Concerned Scientists who sponsor the annual “American Science Idol” cartoon contest has announced this year’s winner. Jesse Springer of Eugene Oregon.
Finalists (which will be featured in the calendar) include Matt Bors, Brian Orr, Matthew Shultz, Jen Sorensen, Tim White, Phil Witte, and Alejandro Yegros.
Judges included Garry Trudeau, Tom Toles, and Dave Coverly.

Many great cartoons made the finals - the one that won was decidedly one of my favorites. Congratulations Jesse! Keep up the great work!
