Matt Groening to visit the Center for Cartoon Studies
While visiting Springfield Vermont (Springfield was the Springfield that beat out all other 13 Springfields vying to be THE Springfield in the Simpsons’ Movie), Matt Groening has said that he’d like to return and visit the Center for Cartoon Studies.
The man behind Bart and Homer says he is impressed that Vermont is home to a unique school for cartooning: the Center for Cartoon Studies in White River Junction. He says he’ll come back to visit the students there.
Groening gushes, “I can’t wait to. Yes, I’m definitely fascinated by it and want to see what’s going on. And I’ll add my two cents. I’m not really an animator, I’m a cartoonist. Animators have it hard.”
