Mort Walker creates free magazine
From E&P comes news that Beetle Bailey creator Mort Walker is now publishing a full-color 20 page magazine called Mort Walker’s The Best of Times. The publication has already had a trial run in the Connecticut area last month. As he envision it, it will be a 40 page publication that runs 50% ads and 50% editorial content that consists of comic strips, editorial cartoons, political columns, feature columns, puzzles, and other material from King Features Syndicate.
