Bad Reporter Don Asmussen wins Best of the West award

Bad Reporter cartoonist Don Asmussen has won the Best of the West award for editorial cartooning. The award is sponsored by First Amendment Funding – an Arizona non-profit group with an aim to promote freedom of information. Also placing second in this award is Dave Horsey of the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, and third place goes to Steve Benson of the The Arizona Republic.

The competition is limited to a few states in the west and was judged by Chip Bok, of the Akron Beacon-Journal.
