Comic cross-overs abound this week
Character cross-overs aren’t too unusual, but there seemed to be a spike in the number this week. In Sunday’s Lio, Mark Tatulli featured a dysfunctional For Better or For Worse family as hot-headed and short-tempered. Mark also brought in the Charlie Brown and Lucy for a gag yesterday.
Stephan Pastis used Bucky from Get Fuzzy for a gag in his Sunday feature to promote his new book, Da Brudderhood of Zeeba Zeeba Eata.
These two cartoonists are known to frequently use other comics strip characters in their features.
