Dan Piraro seeks to auction cartoons to raise money for animal sanctuary
Dan Piraro is asking cartoonists to help raise money for an animal sanctuary in upstate New York by auctioning off cartoon originals. The last time a cartoon original auction was held for the sanctuary was in 2004 and according to Dan, “it made more money than any of our other fundraising events and the cartoon art sold the most quickly.”
Money raised will also go toward education programs on the hazards of factory farming and animal cruelty issues.
