Vermont art exhibit includes magazine, comic book and editorial cartoonists
The Helen Day Art Center will be opening a new exhibit entitled Fine Toon: The Art of Vermont Cartoonists to feature 13 cartoonists with Vermont ties including Harry Bliss, Frank Miller, Ed Koren, Hal Mayforth, James Sturm, Stephen Bissette, Alison Bechdel, Tim Newcomb and Jeff Danziger.
The exhibit runs through March 31 and costs $5. on March 15th they will be showing a documentary called “Comic Book Confidential” that features the development of the comic book genre. See the Helen Day web site for more information.
