Jose Varela to write tell-all about his 4-hour standoff
Jose Varela, the former El Nuevo Herald editorial cartoonist, who held employees of Miami Herald captive for four hours with a toy gun will write a tell-all book to explain his actions.
He says,
“My motivation was to send a personal message with all the problems inside the Miami Herald, El Nuevo Herald,” he said.
