Norman Rockwell painting fetches $15.4 million
Last spring, I posted a story about Henry cartoonist Don Trachte Jr. who painted a forged Norman Rockwell painting and then hid the original in a false wall of his home during his divorce in 1970. The original painting was just discovered and according to E&P it was auctioned off at Sotheby’s for a mere $15.4 million.
