Signe Wilkinson in Library of Congress calendar
Comics Reporter Tom Spurgeon points us to a story about Signe Wilkinson, editorial cartoonist for the Daily News, will be featured in the Library of Congress’ annual “Women Who Dare” calendar.
Signe received this honor for being the first woman to receive the Pulitzer Prize for editorial cartooning (1992). Instead of her portrait, the calendar will show one of Signe’s cartoons.
