Another Mockage blog launches; focuses on number of golf references
Awhile ago, I pointed out a new site called the Silent Penultimate Panel Watch which posted on a daily basis how many comic strips used a silent second to the latest panel. Most days there is at least one. Tonight, I came across another “Comics Mockage” blog called the “What’s so funny, not golf” where the blogger points out the golf references each day (or week if there is a dry spell).
The blog has been running since July and so far the following comics have used a golf joke, pun, reference in their comics: B.C., Beetle Bailey, Big Nate, Close to Home, Dennis the Menace, Family Circus, Foxtrot, Frank & Ernest, Frazz, Gil Thorp, Hagar the Horrible, Herb and Jamal, Hi and Lois, Judge Parker, Mary Worth, Middletons, Nancy, Non Sequitur, Pluggers, Prickly City, Sherman’s Lagoon, and Wizard of Id.

This is some good stuff. I’ve always been a big fan of the Sunday comics since I was a child. Really great information!
