Michael Fry starts up RingTales

Striking while the iron is hot, Michael Fry co-creator of “Over the Hedge” has strated a new company along with film writer and producer Jim Cox. The new venture is called RingTales and focuses on making animation shorts for mobile devises and the internet. The animations will be based on current comic strips.

Says Michael:

This is a way of opening up the next generation of comic strips.

RingTales has already had discussions with various syndicates and cartoonists.

Hello Mr. Fry,

I’m having difficulty finding a way to get in touch with you about a school visit. You came to Dahlstrom Middle School a few years back and gave a presentation that was very well received. I’m looking for presenters for the coming school year — so what are your fees now-a-days, since you’re so successful?? — I’m thinking our 8th graders would love to hear from you. Let me know if this is a possibility and what we should budget for your visit. I’m looking forward to hearing from you!
