F Minus picks up the Arizona Daily Star
Earlier I mentioned Tony Carrillo’s “F Minus” had received a glowing review (and client pick up) at the Arizona Republic. Now he’s picked up the Arizona Daily Star starting today.
Fans of sarcasm and those in need of a quick jolt of comedy are in luck.
“F Minus” debuts today in the Accent section and will run Mondays through Saturdays.
The single-panel comic, which has no recurring themes or characters, is the brainchild of Tempe native and Arizona State University graduate Tony Carrillo. According to Carrillo, the only constant is that the comic makes him laugh. “I always liked comics that got right to the point, ones that you didn’t have to spend 10 minutes reading. Plus, you can’t cheat and read the last panel first.”
