Greg Craven is loved in Memphis
Greg Cravens (artist for “Buckets“) and current Reuben Award nominee for Best Newspaper Illustration division has a glowing write up in the Memphis Commercial Appeal.
Advertisers target the entire spectrum of ages and social groups. And for ads that need to be fun or that target children, there’s no one better than Cravens, said Blaine Loyd, a copy writer at the Memphis advertising agency Counterpart.
“He does amazing, professional work. The clients have been thrilled, we’ve been thrilled. A lot of advertising could use artwork that is as fun and exciting as Greg’s.”
Cravens is especially gifted at taking an idea and quickly turning it into exactly what the client is looking for, said Sandra McQuain, a partner in Howell McQuain Strategies, a local marketing and consulting firm.
“He does great work for our clients and he makes us look great for bringing him in. He has a tremendous ability to hear our concept and articulate that graphically,” McQuain said. “He just nails it every time.”

My favorite EVER cartoon strip! I remind myself not to drink ANY beverage while perusing - hot tea can be a bit painful when it comes out of your nose.
I still have the “BIG box of crayons, is a lot of resposibility.” and Dogzilla is on the spot! Thanks for always getting it.
Fan of 14 yrs.
