Mort Walker at NY Comic-con
The New York Comic Con is now past and a few news stories on the event are trickling in. This one is about Mort Walker who was on hand this last weekend, as was his two sons Greg and Brian.
“Beetle Bailey is the everyman who has to fight the system,” said [Mort] Walker. “He’s tired of being told what to do. He resists in his own stupid way.
King Features had 20 of it’s cartoonist at this years Comic-con, including the Walker family.

Dik Browne’s Hagger 2/4 cartoon deserves a follow up, but could not e-mail him. Weather reports for later this century will make our parents tales of difficulty walking to school seem like a walk in the park. Use it or pass it on.

You probably couldn’t reach Dik Browne by email since he’s been dead since 1989
