Cambridge Chronicle is looking for a cartoonist
If you’re interested in a weekly editorial cartooning gig, the Cambridge Chronicle is looking for you.
The Cambridge Chronicle is looking for an editorial cartoonist to produce weekly cartoons for the paper.
Candidates must have clear, distinctive drawing style; ability to draw people; and a clever, high-brow sense of humor. The cartoonist would be responsible for looking at a story and developing a cartoon idea on his or her own. All applicants must be able to turn cartoons around quickly, usually within a day, and prior knowledge of the Cambridge community is a plus.
Compensation will be discussed upon application.
If you’re interested, please send a sample cartoon to editor Deborah Eisner at cambridge@cnc.com or mail a cartoon to: Cambridge Chronicle, 20-40 Holland St., Suite 404, Somerville MA 02144. Call 617-629-3387 with questions.

Hello There,
My father is a fabulous cartoonist. He has frequently had his cartoons published in various newspapers in Rhode Island. He is retired Insurance Salesman, widowed after a beautiful marriage to my mother for 50 years. He is also fabulous with scratchboard, wood carving, egg carving, various types of painting; oil, acrylic; you name it and he does it and does it well.
Are you still interested in anyone’s submission? I’d love to have his work appreciated all over. Thank you, Judy
