Sier’s first caption contest was successful
Kevin Siers and the Charlotte Observer, announced the winner of their first editorial cartoon caption contest.
The winning caption:
“Honest — I’m just here to protect Kaye McGarry!”
–submitted by Katie Williams of Charlotte.
Her caption refers, of course, to the security-conscious Charlotte-Mecklenburg School Board member, and that body’s latest spat. She’ll be receiving our grand prize — in fact, it’s the only one we’ve got — the original cartoon with her caption lettered below it.
