Clyde Peterson calls it a day after 41 years at the Chronicle
From the Houston Chronicle comes news that Clyde Peterson, their editorial cartoonist for 41 years, is stepping away from the drawing table.
AFTER an astonishing run of 41 years and more than 12,000 drawings, editorial cartoonist Clyde Peterson is leaving the Chronicle. Too young to retire, he says, he will be pursuing a number of long-postponed projects. In other words, it’s back to the old drawing board.
The Chronicle won’t be without a cartoonist for too long, Nick Anderson has moved to the Chronicle from the Courier-Journal.
