Battle Creek Michigan cartoonist holding class
Local cartoonist Tom Garland in Battle Creek Michigan is putting on a 9 week cartooning course called “Drawing Sunny-side Up! Cartooning from the heart.” This class is geared toward kindergarten through fifth graders.
“Kids don’t live by rules. They know the stove is hot and that is about it. They have such an imagination, the sky is the limit,” he said. “Cartooning is like that. It has no rules. It is unlike any other art form.”
