Watterson lampooned in Flash animation
From a posting on Toon Talk, there is a flash animation entitled “Evil Josh and Billy” that lampoons the seclusiveness of Bill Watterson. My favorite lines:
Josh: My word! I think I recognize him! It’s Bill Watterson! Man, I knew he hated public attention and everything, but this?
Billy: Who?
Josh: Bill Watterson, you know, he created that comic strip that was popular for depicting the limitless bounds of a child’s imagination but it was really a soap box for the author about 80% of the time.
Billy: (blank stare)
Josh: The kid who pees on the Ford logo.
Billy: Oooh, Gotcha.
Leave your review of the short animation in the comments section.
