Mall of America’s Camp Snoopy to change name
Back in December, I posted a story about Camp Snoopy losing the right to use the Peanut character’s name. According to this story, negotiations between the supermall and United Media have failed and Camp Snoopy will have to change it’s name.
The Bloomington supermall has been unable to come to terms with United Media, which licenses the Peanuts names.
As of Jan. 19, the mall’s seven-acre indoor amusement park will no longer be Camp Snoopy.
The partnership began 13 years ago to salute Peanuts creator Charles Schulz, who was born and raised in the Twin Cities.
