‘Baby Blues’ on trial run at Montreal gazette
Baby Blues will be on a trial run at the Montreal Gazette.
If you like Baby Blues, you’ll probably see it assume a place in our comics lineup, which is already one of the most comprehensive in Canada. At the end of the test period, we’ll put another strip in that bottom right-hand corner of the daily page and test that one.
Why the extended tests? It takes time to get to know the characters in a good comic strip, to understand some of the subtle interactions between them and pick up the storylines. It’s very hard to evaluate a new strip properly on the strength of only two or three examples. Although at the newspaper we are able to see more than two or three examples of a given comic at once, we want you to have as much information as possible before giving us your view.
